I make almost all of my own patterns, mostly using flat drafting methods but occasionally draping or combinations of the two. These are all for my long-term build of the Shaman Empress, from Monstress by Marjorie Liu and Sana Takeda.
Hand-embroidered skirt/tabard for Ciri from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Satin stitch over wool felt padding and couched fringe, both in cotton floche. Wool melton base, hand-sewn cotton-blend satin lining. Edged in #7 brass zipper stops. Making-of post here.
A-2 style leather flight jacket replica commissioned for the Marvel Becoming webseries. Handpainted and constructed from 2.5oz cowhide, with four functioning pockets and full lining. Making-of post here.
Ciri’s leather and chainmail vest from The Witcher 3. Leather vest with quilted cotton lining, mail vest in steel rings with reinforced wool backing and leather-bound edge, laced together with waxed cotton cord. Making-of post is here.
Leather gloves and wrist wrap for Ciri from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Fingerless gloves majority hand sewn, outside seam machine sewn. Wrist wrap tablet woven in crochet cotton with decorative coins strung onto the weft thread.
